The Hero ISL Children’s League is yet another significant initiative declared in the meeting to propel the growth of football in the country. Hero ISL Children’s Leagues will feature over 38,000 children under the 6, 8, 10 and 12-year age groups across 12 states over the next three years. In the first phase, the Children’s Leagues will commence in three states, i.e. West Bengal, Arunachal Pradesh and Meghalaya, covering 15 districts, each having its own league.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA :

A footboller is eligible to play in the HERO ISL Children’s League provided he or she fulfills the following conditions relevant to his/ her age category of the competition :

There are four groups for HERO ISL Children League.

For the Under 6 Competition: (born between 1^st Jan’13 and 31^st Dec’14)

For the Under 8 Competition: (born between 1^st Jan’11 and 31^st Dec’12)

For the Under 10 Competition: (born between 1^st Jan’09 and 31^st Dec’10)

For the Under 12 Competition: (born between 1^st Jan’07 and 31^st Dec’08)

NOTE A student shall not be allowed to represent more than one institute/club/academy and play in more than one age category during the same season of the league.
